Auxiliary Equipment for Mass Finishing

Drying and media separation are important steps after wet mass finishing. Inovatec’s auxiliary equipment range includes centrifugal dryers, vibratory dryers, vibratory separators and magnetic separation equipment.

Select the equipment around your workpieces and the way they move through production. Part size, batch weight, surface sensitivity, retained moisture and the existing loading and unloading arrangements all influence the choice.

Centrifugal Drying

Spin dryers remove adhering liquid by rotating a basket of workpieces. Heating can assist evaporation where it is included in the selected model. Basket selection and the permitted batch load should match the parts. For blind holes or complex cavities, assess retained moisture with representative parts rather than assuming that spinning alone will dry every internal surface.

Vibratory Drying with Corn Cob

Vibratory dryers circulate workpieces with corn cob drying media. The media absorbs surface moisture, while heating helps evaporate the absorbed water. Relative movement can also provide a light polishing effect.

The existing range includes nominal capacity options of 150 L and 600 L. Confirm the useful volume and allowable workpiece load for the selected model. Review the feed, discharge and separation arrangements when connecting the dryer to an automatic-unloading vibratory finishing machine. Check the footprint against the available installation space.

Vibratory Separation

Vibratory screens separate workpieces and finishing media by size. The listed range includes ZS35, ZS50 and ZS100, with configuration requirements to be discussed for the application. Select the screen opening using the actual part and media dimensions, and check the feed rate, handling height and discharge route.

Review frame construction, screen mounting, noise requirements and maintenance access with the proposed installation. Screening performance depends on the material being separated and the operating conditions.

Magnetic Separation

Magnetic separation is suitable for ferromagnetic workpieces used with non-magnetic finishing media. Confirm the magnetic response of the parts and media before selecting this method. Include any residual-magnetism requirements and the downstream process in the equipment review.

Specify Your Auxiliary Equipment

Send the workpiece material, dimensions, weight and batch quantity, together with the finishing media, moisture condition and required output rate. For drying, include the acceptable part temperature and surface requirements. For separation, include samples or drawings that show holes, slots and other features where media could lodge.
