Auxiliary Equipment for Mass Finishing Lines

Inovatec supplies auxiliary equipment for the stages around mass finishing, including media separation, part collection, and drying. A finishing machine alone may not provide the cleanliness, dryness, or handling your next operation requires. Plan the complete route from discharge through separation, any required rinsing, drying, and collection.

6. Vibratory dryer

A drying stage that can be arranged after suitable vibratory or centrifugal disc processes. Review part geometry, drying-media contact, discharge, residues, and the transfer height between machines.

industrial spin centrifugal drying machine

A basket-based option for removing retained water from suitable small parts. Confirm basket loading, part protection, residual moisture, heating if specified, and unloading arrangements.

Magnetic Separator 1

An option for collecting ferromagnetic parts from a finishing load. Confirm the workpiece magnetic response, media composition, lifting capacity, and separation result; this method is not suitable for every metal.

Economic centrifugal dryer

A smaller drying option for suitable batches. Select it from part geometry, basket capacity, the required drying condition, and the complete operating cycle rather than purchase price alone.

Controls and Equipment Options

A Prominent metering pump can dose water and compound for a compatible wet finishing system. Specify the required flow, chemical compatibility, and whether the process uses flow-through water or a recirculating supply.

A Bosch Rexroth variable frequency drive provides adjustable motor frequency on compatible equipment. Use only the settings approved for the machine and load; speed changes affect media movement and must be checked during process trials.

An acoustic cover can reduce operating noise. The result depends on the machine, load, enclosure, and workshop conditions. Confirm the cover design, access arrangements, and any interlocks for the quoted equipment.

Media and Consumables in the Complete Line

Ceramic, plastic, porcelain, and steel finishing media serve different processes. Separation equipment must match the actual part and media sizes, including worn media. If a vibratory dryer uses drying media, specify that material separately from abrasive finishing media. Review carryover, contamination, cleaning, and replacement requirements across the line.

Plan Separation, Drying, and Part Handling
  • Describe the existing finishing machine, discharge height, cycle time, and batch load.
  • Send part geometry, material, media dimensions, and any fragile or protected features.
  • Define residual moisture, cleanliness, temperature, and the next manufacturing operation.
  • Confirm utilities, installation space, transfer equipment, and acceptance checks.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order quantity is one machine. Tell us your parts and production requirements so we can specify the appropriate model and accessories.

How is the machine packed for shipment?

Machines are packed in wooden cases. Confirm the case dimensions, handling points, and any destination-specific requirements for wood treatment when arranging shipment.

What payment terms are available?

Our standard terms are a 30% advance payment and the remaining 70% before shipment. A sight letter of credit may be arranged for larger orders. Other payment methods and any factory inspection should be agreed before ordering.

What is the manufacturing lead time?

The listed reference lead time for standard equipment is 20–25 days. The confirmed schedule depends on the model, quantity, electrical supply, and customization. Ask for an order-specific manufacturing and shipping schedule.

Where can you arrange shipment?

Shipment can be arranged through Shanghai or Ningbo. Yiwu logistics arrangements and other departure routes can be discussed with your forwarder. Confirm the departure port, destination, and delivery terms in the quotation.

In This Guide

Start with the next manufacturing operation

Define what the parts must look like when they leave the finishing line: separated from media, acceptably clean, dry enough for the next operation, and collected without damage. Drying alone does not remove every residue or establish readiness for plating, coating, or assembly.

Select the separation method

Screen separation depends on the difference between part and media dimensions. A magnetic separator additionally depends on the workpiece’s magnetic response and the media composition. Test separation with representative parts and worn media, including retained media in recesses.

Compare vibratory and centrifugal drying

Vibratory drying brings suitable parts into contact with drying media. Centrifugal drying uses a rotating basket to remove water, with heating only where specified. Compare part geometry, contact damage, moisture in cavities, residue limits, and loading and unloading time.

Specify collection and transfer interfaces

Match discharge heights, chute geometry, basket or container capacity, and the permitted handling of the parts. Check that the downstream unit can accept the batch size and discharge rate. Avoid a layout that creates a bottleneck between finishing and drying.

Review utilities, cleaning, and maintenance

Confirm power supply, compressed air where used, water supply and drainage, ventilation, and installation access. Define cleaning and maintenance for screens, baskets, drying media, and transfer points, especially where carryover could contaminate the next batch.

Define what the quotation includes

List the required equipment, transfer devices, controls, interlocks, consumables, and installation responsibilities. Operator training and commissioning can be discussed for the project; confirm their scope and location rather than assuming they are included in every machine price.

Accept the complete operating cycle

Assess separation quality, residual moisture, cleanliness, damage, and throughput from loading to collection. A short machine cycle can still produce a slow line if manual handling or drying is incomplete. Use the agreed part samples and operating conditions for acceptance.
