ZS35 Vibratory separator

The ZS35 vibratory separator separates workpieces from finishing media after mass finishing. A vibrating screen moves the mixture towards the discharge outlets, while the selected screen openings determine the separation. How the Separation Process Works

The separator consists of a machine frame, screen, springs, two vibratory motors and a rinsing pipe. Vibration moves the workpieces and media across the screen. The screen openings determine which fraction passes through and which remains on the screen; the two fractions leave through their respective outlets. Review the routing for the actual workpiece and media combination.

The rinsing arrangement washes the workpieces during separation. Include the water supply, drainage and downstream collection requirements in the process review. Check for media lodging in holes or recesses and assess the ease of separation using representative parts.

Installation and Operation

Installation is specified on a concrete floor without foundation bolts. Confirm the floor condition, positioning, clearances and handling method for the ordered machine. Use the lifting and transport instructions supplied for the equipment.

Have the electrical connections, protective grounding and controls checked by qualified personnel before operation. Check fasteners and the condition of the machine before starting. The start control activates the separator; the stop control ends operation. Follow the supplied operating instructions for loading, rinsing, collection and stopping.

Inspection and Process Review

Inspect the vibratory motors and fastening points regularly, and keep the machine clean. Check the screen condition and the separation result as part and media sizes change. Carry out inspection and maintenance with the machine stopped, following the equipment instructions.
